Crain's Detroit: Empire shakes up menu

Empire Kitchen & Cocktails recently updated its menu and added a weekend brunch. The 10 new items include honey-garlic boneless half chicken, seared scallops, smoked whitefish and artichoke pizza.
Owners Michael Abrams, Brian Adelman and David Pittaway turned on-site management over to Chef Aaron Lowen, who is the operating partner, to develop the eclectic American menu.
Empire Kitchen & Cocktails is at 3150 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.
